The only service available with 'Share Online 3.0' is Vox, for which I am not registered yet :-(
I think I've seen Flickr as one of the services earlier, but its not there yet. Will wait.
They say 'With extended device support' for this version, and its also required if you want to install locationtagger. Location tagger when ON has a setting to show an icon on the viewfinder when the camera is on. So I believe the active standby addition and this location tagger icon is what they mean by extended device support.Locationtagger is cool but no Flickr service in Share Online is not.
Check more about it here.
This is quite interesting. Normally, when I update my service on Share Online 3.0, I got 2 services, i.e. Voc and flickr. I am also using N95 8GB.
ReplyDeleteHi Antony,
ReplyDeleteTried updating again. No luck.
Hey there ! To use Flickr with share online ,you'll have to download the flickr config file from here :
ReplyDeletehttp://www.flickr.com/help/nokia
Just run it on your phone using your default file viewer once and you'll see flickr permanently in your share online 3 screen.
Hope that helps !
THANKS a LOT Cj, It worked.
ReplyDeleteWonder how Antony did not know it, he's a BetaLabs insider ;) , as far as I know.
Thanks again.
Well.... there are many teams inside BetaLabs... and we are spread all around the world. :)
ReplyDeleteSo... it doesn't mean that I should know everything about BetaLabs, does it?
The services depends on the region.
ReplyDeleteType *#0000# you get a region code.
Mine is RM-313 and only vox is available in my region.
I hope nokia guys get all services to all region soon.
In case you wanting to know which services are available for other regions tyr nokia search, i know i had seen it somewhere in nokia sites.
How can I disable this standby item??
ReplyDeleteI've never used share online and I don't intend to do so, can I erase the link from my active stanby screen??
