I propose to remove that duty and shift the levy to cellular mobile phones."

Symbian at CTIA Wireless 2008

Free channels is Rs 50 pm and more for other channels.

Ovi not showing up on Share Online

First it was Flickr that did not show up on Share Online 3, but thanks to a comment on my post I was able to get it as a service with the help of a cfg file.
The blogsphere says that Ovi is now available as one of the services on Share Online, but again its not working for me :-(.
This list which shows which countries can have the service does not include India.
Any body knows any cfg file for this.

Symbian in India - the Emerging Market

Nice paper published on symbian.com, talks everything about the early days when mobile phones were introduced in India to the recent times. All you can do with it related to credit cards, movies etc.. to the rural penetration, fishing industry and all.

Ending active connection (GPRS)

Never knew this, press and hold the red (call disconnect) button on the standby screen asks to end active data connection.

Share on Ovi

The only time Ovi was all over the blogsphere was when it was announced. Nothing much since then. I've been using twango for quiet a few months now and first came to know about it when it was acquired by Nokia. Today twango looks OVIzed. I uploaded quiet some stuff on twango yesterday but the site looks revamped today.

So out of the 'Share,Music,Maps,N-Gage,Calendar & Contacts', links on ovi Share seems to be of some use now.
